Just recently, I ran into another rapper that kept complaining about “haters”. As he talked about how haters were getting on his last nerve, I couldn’t help but to remember one particular story from a show I did before. It was a small bar with a tiny stage. Every Friday night, the owner of the bar was cool enough to give local rappers a chance to showcase their talent. There were around 5 acts that had to perform before it was my turn to go up on stage. It was around 10pm and the 4th act was on stage. I was standing next to a group of people that had a lot of negative shit to say about everyone that had already performed. I remember thinking, “If they don’t like any of the rappers, then what the fuck are they still doing here?”. I had to walk away because it was almost my turn to go up onstage and I had to focus… but before I walked away, I overheard them talking amongst themselves about the guy performing at the time:

Hater 01: What do you think about this dude?

Hater 02: Fuck him.

Hater 01: Why you hate’n?

Hater 02: Don’t get me wrong… I like his beats.

Hater 01: Oh, okay… So you’re just riding his dick.

I’ve been noticing this type of shit more and more lately. If you go out of your way to say something bad about someone, you’re a hater… which I do agree with. BUT… if you say something good about someone, you’re a dick rider. Does that mean all of Eminem’s fans are riding his dick?! Fuck no! What it means is: you can never win with haters, man.

Haven’t you noticed? 99% of people that hate to that extent, have nothing going for them. How can they possibly see opportunity when their minds are fully occupied with hate? It’s real rare to find positive people that hustle hard associating themselves with negative people…. why? Because hustlers are way too busy for that childish shit. Haters seem to always find the time for stupid shit… that’s why haters are usually bums with no futures. That’s why “success is the best type of revenge”.

So, to all you struggle’n artists out there… just brush them haters off and get back to work, bruh. You’re going to make it through one day.

To all you haters out there… I have one question: Can your dick reach your asshole? It can?! Great!
